Calvary Commission, an organization described as an international missions base and theological seminary, will host its 49th annual conference from Wednesday, September 2, through Monday, September 7. The multi-day event will unfold across locations in Tyler and Lindale, focusing on spiritual messages and training, and will be capped off with a community Labor Day celebration. The conference events are free and open to the public, welcoming residents from Tyler, Whitehouse, Lindale, Bullard, and surrounding East Texas areas.
The conference is set to commence on Wednesday, September 2, with an opening service scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Church of Living Hope, located in Tyler. Dr. Marshall Windsor will lead this initial service, setting the tone for the week's activities. Following the opening, the core sessions of the conference will be held from Thursday, September 3, through Saturday, September 5. These sessions will take place at the Calvary Commission campus, specifically at 15983 County Rd. 4140 in Lindale. During these three days, sessions are scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., encompassing worship, comprehensive missionary reports, dedicated prayer, spiritual messages, and focused training designed for Ministry and Missions. The theme for this year's gathering is announced as “Established In Hope.”
The formal conference celebration will draw to a close on Sunday, September 6. This concluding service will be held at the Church of Living Hope in Tyler, starting at 10:30 a.m., with Pastor Alex Blanco leading the proceedings. Immediately following the conference's spiritual conclusion, the Calvary Bible Institute student graduation and a reception will take place. This graduation event is scheduled at the Calvary Commission campus, where Dr. Joe Fauss, identified as the founder, president, and international Director of Calvary Commission, will serve as the speaker.
To round out the week of events, Calvary Commission will host its annual Labor Day Blast. This public event is slated for Monday, September 7, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Lindale campus. The Labor Day Blast is designed as a family-friendly gathering, featuring games, a barbecue meal, opportunities for door prizes, and various activities suitable for all ages. Admission for the Labor Day Blast is set at $15 per person, with children aged 12 and under admitted free of charge for the barbecue and activities.
