Tyler Junior College recently announced its President’s and Dean’s lists for the Spring 2026 semester, recognizing a total of 1,499 students for their academic achievements. The President’s List honors 532 students who completed a minimum of 12 hours of college-level courses with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. An additional 967 students earned a spot on the Dean’s List by completing a minimum of 12 hours of college-level courses with a minimum 3.3 grade-point average.
Students from numerous East Texas communities, along with some from out-of-state and international locations, were named to these prestigious lists. The President's List includes a wide representation of students, reflecting academic dedication across the TJC student body. Among those achieving the 4.0 GPA were Anitya Aukland, Anahi Borja, and Lane Gray from Arp; Anjelica Pagitt, Anahi Rondan, and Gabriela Vazquez from Athens; and Mary Kathryn Armstrong, Amanda Bickham, and Katelynn Davis from Ben Wheeler. From Bullard, students recognized include Landry Bridges, Ben Coke, Justice Edwards, Lainey Enriquez, Christopher Forrester, Avery Fussell, Madelyn Guevara, Beau Johnson, Samariya Johnson, and Shelby Langston.
Lindale also saw a significant number of students on the President's List, including Madison Barber, Makenna Burks, Sydney Burrus, Elizavet Cervantes, Tala Edrees, Mitchell Grant, Bridget Hasz, Savanna Holloway, Lincoln Laing, Joshua Mahannah, and Connor McClendon. Students from Whitehouse achieving this honor included Lillian Adams, Julianna Agnew, Ethan Deever, Emily England, Adriana Gardner, Gracie Henson, Camron Liston Wallace, Leslie Mendez, and Darius Perkins. Tyler, as the college's home city, had a large contingent of President's List honorees, such as Syeda Hajera Fatima Abedi, Charles Adams, Anndrea Adkins, Sofie Arbuckle, Rachelle Arellano, Arslan Astafev, Noemi Avila, Elijah Beaulieu, Ashley Bennett, Madelyn Birdsong, Shayla Bonner, Bodey Bonnette, Mariah Bowling, and Emilie Brulato.
Further Tyler students recognized for their 4.0 GPA included Austin Buckley, Kelsey Burgos, Emma Burkett, Ashlan Byron, Kate Caldwell, Aidan Case, Georgina Castillo, Cristian Cervantes, Ethan Chastain, Trey Chudej, Allison Creed, Logan Deck, Amaranta Diaz, Mara Donley, Carter Easley, Natalia Elias, Matthew Flanery, Skyah Frye, Heather Fugate, Jose Garcia, Madelee Garcia, Selena Garcia, Roger Gaskill III, Luis Gonzalez, Michael Goodwin, Kimia Gordon, Sarahi Guevara, Nolan Hable, Sophie Harlan, Gill Hassell, Chloe Hayes, Elijah Heard, Camille Henry, Stephany Hernandez, Aubri Hill, Rebecca Hoffe-Goodwin, Jeremiah Honey, Tristan Horner, Naimah Horton, Detorriaus Howard, Paige Howard, Rossetta Jackson, Anas Javed, Savanna Jett, Gunner Johnson, Alonnah Jones, Umama Khan, Nathaniel Kirksey, and Aja Kruse. International students achieving President's List distinction included Victoria Garcia from Box Elder, South Dakota; Kamila Roszewska and Natalia Roszewska from Konstantynów Lódzki, Poland; and Ties Cornelis Jacob de Regt from Oegstgeest, Netherlands.
The Dean’s List similarly showcases broad academic success, with 967 students meeting the criteria of a minimum 3.3 GPA. Representing local communities on the Dean's List were Brayden Bohannan, Mason Bohannan, and Isabela Hernandez from Alba; Sydne Garrett, Jerry Lopez, and Sarah Mauldin from Arp; and Brooke Hernandez, Kason Jones, and Robert McCasland from Athens. Ben Wheeler honorees included Laura Cristobal, Jon Jacobs, and Peyton Jacobs, while Wade Conklin and Danielle Elliott represented Big Sandy. The Dean's List also featured international student Esohe Gaius-Obaseki from Benin City, Nigeria.
Tyler Junior College's Spring 2026 honor rolls highlight the sustained academic efforts of its student body, with nearly 1,500 students achieving high scholastic standing.
