Tyler Junior College has announced its President’s and Dean’s lists for the Spring 2026 semester, recognizing a total of 1,499 students for their academic achievements. The President's List includes 532 students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average, while the Dean's List honors 967 students who achieved a minimum 3.3 grade-point average. All recognized students completed a minimum of 12 hours of college-level courses during the semester.

The President’s List acknowledges the highest level of academic excellence. The 532 students on this list maintained a flawless academic record, demonstrating exceptional dedication in their coursework. While the majority of students hail from East Texas communities, the list also includes students from as far afield as Box Elder, South Dakota; Konstantynów Lódzki, Poland; Oegstgeest, Netherlands; Owens Cross Roads, Alabama; Potters Bar, United Kingdom; Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan; Terrigal, Australia; and Tokoroa, Waikato, New Zealand.

Tyler, the college's home city, leads with 110 students named to the President's List. Among them are Syeda Hajera Fatima Abedi, Charles Adams, Anndrea Adkins, Elijah Beaulieu, Madelyn Birdsong, Emma Burkett, Aidan Case, Mara Donley, Matthew Flanery, Jose Garcia, Michael Goodwin, Sophie Harlan, Camille Henry, Tristan Horner, Gunner Johnson, Umama Khan, Aja Kruse, Mia Ledesma, Julissa Mancilla, Christopher Mann, Guardian McCormack, William McKay, Jasmin Medina, Emily Morales Alvarez, Simon Munoz, Brian Nguyen, Coleman Northcutt, Daniela Ortiz, Victoria Perez, Audrey Ratliff, Liam Ricketts, Brandi Rivera, Braylon Roberson, Zachary Rodney-Garcia, Isabela Sabillon, Maria Siri, Audrey Skipper, Courtney Smith, Emmanuel Sotelo, and Sadie Stewart.

Several other East Texas communities also contributed significantly to the President's List. Lindale saw 25 students earn a 4.0 GPA, including Madison Barber, Makenna Burks, Sydney Burrus, Tala Edrees, Mitchell Grant, Bridget Hasz, Savanna Holloway, Lincoln Laing, Joshua Mahannah, Connor McClendon, Brenna Means, Asher Medders, Esmeralda Mojarro, Lilyana Permenter, and Troy Pritchard. From Whitehouse, 15 students were recognized, such as Lillian Adams, Julianna Agnew, Ethan Deever, Emily England, Adriana Gardner, Gracie Henson, Camron Liston Wallace, Leslie Mendez, Darius Perkins, and Lillian Reed. Bullard contributed 14 students, including Landry Bridges, Ben Coke, Justice Edwards, Lainey Enriquez, Christopher Forrester, Avery Fussell, Madelyn Guevara, Beau Johnson, Samariya Johnson, and Alycia Jones.

Further demonstrating regional academic strength, Flint had 14 students on the President's List, including Ethan Bailey, Alanna Bean, Ruby Byers, Christopher Campbell, Jon Gaskamp, Aiden Gonzalez, Nicholas Hardy, Heather Marr, Jace Rickelman, and Jonathan Romero. Jacksonville saw 15 students achieve the distinction, such as Stevie Brummett, Bailey Bunn, Martin Esquivel, Jasmin Garcia, Tiffany Garcia, Ethanie Lux, Jewel McCullough, Jeff Moses, Robert Musgrave, Alma Palacio, and Daniel Rangel. Mineola added 15 students to the list, including Victoria Callaway, Jessica Carroll, Carolina Galarza, Cassandra Gortney, Ciara Gray, Benjamin Honea, Madilynn Irby-Sheeran, Riley Jones, Bella Kerbo, Sebastian Klodnicki, and Nathalie Marquez.

The Dean’s List, recognizing 967 students, denotes strong academic performance with a minimum 3.3 grade-point average across at least 12 college-level course hours. Among the students named to the Dean's List are: from Alba, Brayden Bohannan, Mason Bohannan, Isabela Hernandez, Kayleigh Logan, and Adrian Torres; from Arlington, DaVidien Bobo, Cristopher Donaldson II, and Jourdyn Morris; from Arp, Sydne Garrett, Jerry Lopez, Sarah Mauldin, Alvaro Mendez, Shania Padron, Antonio Ponce, and Emmanuel Ponce; from Athens, Brooke Hernandez, Kason Jones, Robert McCasland, Alex Miranda, Alexander Prater, Brandon Radke, and Brittany Vecchio; from Ben Wheeler, Laura Cristobal, Jon Jacobs, Peyton Jacobs, Charlott LeMonds, Daisy Mendoza, Jon Nixon, Caden Sanderfer, and Alyssa Zuniga.
