The Pink Candle, which previously operated in Longview, has established its new storefront in Tyler, introducing a local option for custom-scented home and body goods.
The business has taken up residence at 4002 South Broadway, positioned directly across the street from the Sprouts grocery store. The shop opens its doors four days a week, operating from Wednesday through Saturday between noon and 7 p.m.
Inside the storefront, visitors participate in a step-by-step creation process. Customers begin by choosing a base product from a lineup that spans both personal care and home items. The selection includes traditional candles and wax squares alongside body washes, hand soaps, shampoos, and conditioners. The shop also carries room sprays, fabric sprays, and pet care options such as pet shampoos, pet conditioners, and pet perfume.
After selecting a base product, customers access a fragrance library containing more than 70 individual scents. Visitors choose their preferred fragrances and mix their custom blend directly into the selected product base to complete the item. The hands-on format aims to provide a simple, straightforward creation process accessible to participants of all skill levels, contrasting with other regional recreational activities like local painting sessions or structured pottery classes.
The arrival of the custom-scent business adds another option to the local recreational landscape.
