Tyler Junior College has announced its President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Spring 2026 semester, celebrating the academic achievements of 1,499 students. These lists acknowledge students who demonstrated exceptional scholastic performance by completing a minimum of 12 hours of college-level courses.

The President’s List, reserved for students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade-point average, includes 532 honorees. A significant number of these students hail from East Texas communities. From Tyler, 123 students achieved this distinction, including Syeda Hajera Fatima Abedi, Charles Adams, Anndrea Adkins, Laney Anzaldua, Sofie Arbuckle, Rachelle Arellano, Arslan Astafev, Noemi Avila, Elijah Beaulieu, Ashley Bennett, Madelyn Birdsong, Shayla Bonner, Bodey Bonnette, Mariah Bowling, Emilie Brulato, Austin Buckley, and Kelsey Burgos.

Lindale also saw a strong showing with 24 students named to the President’s List, such as Madison Barber, Makenna Burks, Sydney Burrus, Elizavet Cervantes, Tala Edrees, Mitchell Grant, and Bridget Hasz. Whitehouse contributed 15 students, including Lillian Adams, Julianna Agnew, Ethan Deever, Emily England, and Adriana Gardner. Bullard recognized 14 students, among them Landry Bridges, Ben Coke, Justice Edwards, Lainey Enriquez, and Christopher Forrester. Flint had 14 students on the list, including Ethan Bailey, Alanna Bean, Ruby Byers, Christopher Campbell, and Jon Gaskamp. Jacksonville also celebrated 14 students, such as Stevie Brummett, Bailey Bunn, Martin Esquivel, Jasmin Garcia, and Tiffany Garcia. Mineola included 13 students like Victoria Callaway, Jessica Carroll, Carolina Galarza, Cassandra Gortney, and Ciara Gray. Longview had 18 students on the list, including Rylee Adams, Yocelyn Andrade, Miyai Armstrong, MarKeiya Beall, and Emiliano Bobadilla.

Other East Texas communities with students on the President’s List include Arp (5), Athens (4), Ben Wheeler (4), Big Sandy (4), Brownsboro (3), Canton (8), Chandler (7), Grand Saline (4), Hideaway (4), Overton (3), Quitman (5), Rusk (5), Troup (5), Van (6), Wills Point (4), and Winona (4).

The President’s List also recognized students from outside East Texas and the United States, such as Victoria Garcia from Box Elder, South Dakota; Kamila Roszewska and Natalia Roszewska from Konstantynów Lódzki, Poland; Ties Cornelis Jacob de Regt from Oegstgeest, Netherlands; Justine Lenizo from Owens Cross Roads, Alabama; Enrico Franchi from Potters Bar, United Kingdom; Nanami Hashimoto from Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan; Tobias Eyrl-Collins from Terrigal, Australia; and Gabriella Hislop from Tokoroa, Waikato, New Zealand.

The Dean’s List honors 967 students who completed at least 12 hours of college-level coursework with a minimum grade-point average of 3.3. From Alba, five students earned a spot on the Dean's List, including Brayden Bohannan and Mason Bohannan. Arp had six students recognized, such as Sydne Garrett and Jerry Lopez. Athens saw six students make the list, including Brooke Hernandez and Kason Jones. Ben Wheeler had eight students, with Laura Cristobal and Jon Jacobs among them. The list also includes DaVidien Bobo from Arlington and Esohe Gaius-Obaseki from Benin City, Nigeria. From Big Sandy, four students were named to the Dean's List.
