Tyler Junior College reported that its Theatre Department will stage the Tony Award-winning musical “Dear Evan Hansen” for four nights from Wednesday, October 7, through Saturday, October 10, 2026. Each performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Jean Browne Theatre, located on the College’s main campus.
The musical, which enjoyed a six-year run on Broadway, is described as a coming-of-age story that addresses modern isolation, social anxiety, and human connection. It follows high school senior Evan Hansen as a simple lie intertwines him with a family’s grief, offering him a chance to belong. Attendees should be aware that the production contains mature themes and may not be suitable for all audiences.
Tickets for “Dear Evan Hansen” can be purchased starting September 30, 2026. The Box Office, situated in the Wise Cultural Arts Building on campus, will be open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for in-person sales. For additional information regarding ticket purchases, interested individuals can call 903-510-2212 or visit TJC.edu/TheatreTickets.
